Summer Semester 2022:


Heidelberg Physics Graduate days lecture

Together with Skyler Degenkolb, Jun.-Prof. At the Physikalisches Institut, Heidelberg University, we designed a two-times-four lectures series bringing together our research fields. We entitled the lecture series "Ultracold quantum matter: what can you do with atoms and neutrons". It is to be given at the 48th Heidelberg Physics Graduate days, help from 11th to 14th of April 2022. Details on the lectures can be found here.

Winter Semester 2021/2022:


Tutorial on Advanced Atomic, Molecular, and Optical Physics

This winter semester, I am responsible of one the tutorial classes accompanying Prof. Matthias Weidemüller master-level lectures on "Advanced Atomic, Molecular, and Optical Physics" (AAMOP). In the class, we discuss problem sets that follow the lectures' topics. My class is hold weekly, on Thursdays from 11:15 to 13:00, in person, in the INF227 building, room SR3.402.

Summer Semester 2021:


Master-level seminar, "Building synthetic quantum systems with photons, ions and neutral atoms"

This summer semester, we organise together with Fred Jendrzejewski a seminar series on "Building synthetic quantum systems with photons, ions and neutral atoms". Here we will discuss a variety of experiments based on assemblies of either photons, neutral atoms or ions, that highlight their capabilities to study quantum effects ranging from high precision measurements to complex many-body phenomena.
