FP registration via the new FP status page

From 11 August 2026 on, the registration for the FP will be possible via the new FP status page. For this, the Uni-ID and the password belonging to the Uni-ID are required.
SS 2026: Introduction to the Advanced Lab course and radiation protection course

The introduction for the FP with radiation protection instruction (obligatory every semester, only one catch-up date approx. 3-4 weeks later) will take place on 2026-04-13, 01:30 PM in INF 308, HS 1. Here are the slides for the FP introduction
New FP status page

Starting from April 13, 2026, a new FP status page will be available. It offers additional features, such as the option to choose a different partner for an already booked experiment. The old FP status page will remain available for a transition period.
FP seminars for the SS 2026

The booking of FP seminar lectures with the FP partner is now possible via the FP status page. To book lecture dates with a partner other than the FP partner, please send an e-mail to the FP management. The same applies to lectures on experiments that are not part of the Heidelberg FP.
Activation of experiment appointment dates during the lecture period of the summer semester 2026

The tutors will release dates for booking continually. These dates can then be booked directly. Based on experience, additional dates will be offered throughout the course of the semester. This type of appointment activation should help to prevent appointments from being booked on which no tutor is available in the end.
Division FP1 / FP2

The rule continues to apply (also in SS 2026) that there are no restrictions on the division of FP attempts between FP1 and FP2. For example, the combination 2 FP1 + 6 FP2 is fine.
Number of possible entries in the waiting list increased from two to four

The maximum possible number of entries in the waiting list for experiment bookings has been increased from two to four.
FP experiment as final academic achievement

Please send an e-mail to the FP management if it becomes apparent that the FP will become the last study achievement due to the current shortage of FP2 dates offered when the Bachelor's thesis is completed and the duration of study could be extended as a result. In this way, we can create a priority list for the allocation of further FP2 dates.
