Configuration

ph is fully configurable by a set of ASCII files. One file determines the access to the CAN bus hardware, the other file contains the register values and configuration for one or more HELIX to be programmed.

All configuration files can contain blank lines. Lines beginning with a hash mark # are comment lines and are ignored. Within a section, the order of the parameters is irrelevant.

By default, ph uses canserv.cfg for the CAN bus configuration and reads the HELIX parameters from helix.cfg. If the command line options -c or -s are given, ph reads in the file(s) specified and uses them as configuration files.
