The Mu3e Experiment

We plan an eperiment to search for the lepton flavour violating decay of the muon to three electrons with a branching ratio sensitivity of 10^-16. To this aim, we use innovative high-voltage monolithic active pixel sensors (HV-MAPS).
The experiment will be operated at the Paul Scherrer Institut (PSI) in Switzerland. In January 2013, our ResearchProposal was accepted by PSI.
